A.2.2.1. Process RX Preamble

The peamble sequece is Stat, six peamble bytes, ad SFD. The Stat byte must be o eceive chael 0 of the MII, which meas byte [7:0] of the data decoded fom a 66b block. The IP coe uses the Stat Cotol byte (0xFB, with the coespodig MII cotol bit set to 1) to idetify the stat of the Etheet packet, ad the locatio of the peamble.

By default, the MAC RX emoves all Stat, SFD, peamble, ad IPG bytes fom accepted fames. Howeve, if you tu o Eable peamble passthough i the GTS Etheet Itel® FPGA Had IP paamete edito, the MAC RX does ot emove the eight-byte peamble sequece.
