A.2.3.2. Conditions Triggering XON Frame Transmission

The TX MAC tasmits PAUSE o PFC XON fames whe oe of the followig coditios occus:

Cliet equests XON tasmissio—A cliet ca explicitly equest that XON fames be set usig the pause cotol iteface sigal. Whe i_tx_pause is deasseted, a PAUSE XON fame is set to the Etheet etwok whe the cuet fame tasmissio completes. Similaly, whe i_tx_pfc[] is deasseted, a PFC fame is set with a PFC XON message fo queue . If multiple PFC queues ae deasseted, the TX MAC packs the equests ito the same PFC packet if possible.
