5.6. USB 3.1 Gen1 Controller

The hard processor system (HPS) provides a USB 3.1 Gen1 controller that supports both device and host functions for high-speed applications.

Important: In HPS Boot First mode, you can only use the USB 3.1 controller after the "Phase 2 configuration." Refer to the Booting and Configuration HPS Boot First Mode Overview and Agilex™ 5 SoC FPGA Boot User Guide for more information.
