7.5. Clock Manager Signal Description

This section describes the signals for the two types of clocks: hardware-managed and software-managed. Hardware-managed clocks are any group of clocks that belong to a common synchronous clock group with a fixed frequency ratio to each other. These clocks must transition seamlessly with respect to each other. Software-managed clocks are clocks that are controlled by software.
