15.5.2.3. PSS NOC and MPFE NOC

The PSS NOC and MPFE NOC both implement trace observer probes that allow a variety of statistics gathering as well as some limited visibility into bus transactions.

Timestamps can optionally be enabled to provide coarse grain timestamping of NOC Probe trace messages. The messages generated are transported out of the NOC Probes on the ATB. The ATB from the MPFE NOC trace observer will not be routed through the fabric.
