2.7.2. TX Deskew Function

  • When channels are bonded, skew between the channels is minimized. TX deskew logic is turned on if there are more than one PMA channel. Deskew logic in the transmit direction aligns the core interface by generating internal deskew pulses every 16 or 32 clock cycles. These pulses are used to align the transmit parallel data before driving into the PMAs.
