6.10. Function Level Reset Interface

The FLR (Fuctio Level Reset) iteface is used to eset idividual Sigle Root I/O Vitualizatio (SR-IOV) fuctios. The PCIe* Had IP suppots FLR fo both Physical Fuctios (PFs) ad Vitual Fuctios (VFs). Whe a FLR is executed fo a specific VF, the packets eceived fo that VF become ivalid.

The FLR iteface sigals ae povided to the applicatio iteface fo maagig these esets. The assetio of the p<>_ss_app_st_flcvd_tvalid sigal idicates that a FLR has bee eceived fo a paticula PF o VF. The applicatio logic is the esposible fo executig its FLR outie ad epotig the completio status back to the Fuctio Level Reset Completio iteface.

Befoe this completio evet, the PCIe* Had IP espods to all tasactios fo the fuctio udegoig FLR with completios that have a Usuppoted Request (UR) status. The PCIe* Had IP does ot implemet a timeout fo this hadshake, so the applicatio must sed FLR completio fo ay FLR equest eceived o the Fuctio Level Reset Received iteface.
