4.11. Config Retry Status Enable

The application layer can use the Config Retry Control register, CFG RETRY CTRL to update the per Physical Function (PF) Config Retry Status Enable controls (CRS En Controls) driven to the HIP. All Virtual Functions (VF) share the same control as their parent PF. When the corresponding PF's CRS En Control is asserted, the HIP responds to Configuration TLPs with a CRS if it has not already responded to a Configuration TLP with non-CRS status since the last reset. You can use this to hold off on enumeration.
