Each 400G had IP ad 200G had IP factue icludes FEC. The FEC block is located betwee the PCS ad PMA iteface blocks of a factue.
- Fou adjacet st_x1 factues o two adjacet st_x2 factues shae the same clock ad ae gouped togethe as a FEC coe.
- st_x4 uses oe FEC coe.
- Two o fou FEC coes ae gouped togethe i st_x8 ad st_x16 factues, espectively.
Thee is a total of fou FEC coes i 400G had IP ad two FEC coes i 200G had IP. Each FEC coe ca be used to implemet multiple FEC modes as show i the followig table.
