3.14.1.4. TX Equalizer Settings

The TX equalize settigs povides a way to tue you PMA TX buffe to optimize lik pefomace.

To update the TX equalize settigs, follow these steps:

  1. Set cs_txffe_coeff_load (0x45080[0]) to 1’b0.
  2. Set TX equalize co-efficiets to valid settigs:
    • TX equalize pe-cuso 3 egiste cs_txffe_coeff_p5(0x45084[23:18]).
    • TX equalize pe-cuso 2 egiste cs_txffe_coeff_m2(0x45080[7:2]).
    • TX equalize pe-cuso 1 egiste cs_txffe_coeff_m1(0x45080[13:8]).
    • TX equalize mai cuso egiste cs_txffe_coeff_0(0x45080[20:14]).
    • TX equalize post-cuso 1 egiste cs_txffe_coeff_p1(0x45080[26:21]).
    • TX equalize post-cuso 2 egiste cs_txffe_coeff_p2(0x45084[5:0]).
    • TX equalize post-cuso 3 egiste cs_txffe_coeff_p3(0x45084[11:6])
    • TX equalize post-cuso 4 egiste cs_txffe_coeff_p4(0x45084[17:12]).
  3. Toggle cs_txffe_coeff_load (0x45080[0]) to 1’b1 ad back to 1’b0.
    Note: Fo the age of TX PMA equalize paametes, efe to FHT Tasmitte PMA Equalize Paametes fo NRZ ad PAM4 Modes.
