1.5.11.2. Turning Off the Debug Features for Production Release

This task describes how to turn off the debugging feature of your UEFI for production release.

  1. Use your preferred editor to open the <your_uefi_socfpga>/uefi-socfpga/AlteraPlatformPkg/Arria10SoCPkg/Arria10SoCPkg.dsc file.
  2. Configure the gAlteraHpsTokenSpaceGuid.PcdenableSemihosting value from 1 to 0.

  3. In addition, you can also disable the following three suggested sections for your production release build in order to reduce the boot time.
