4.3.2.1. Si5332 Clock

  • Default: Restores to factory default settings.
  • Read: Reads the current real-time frequency setting for the oscillator associated with the active tab.
  • Set: Sets the programmable oscillator frequency for the selected clock to the value in the OUTx output controls. Frequency changes might take several milliseconds to take effect. You might see glitches on the clock during this time. Altera recommends resetting the FPGA logic after changing frequencies.
  • Import: Imports the register list generated from the tool of the Skyworks* Clockbuilder Pro software. Register changes are volatile after power cycling.

You can save the imported clock settings to flash if you want the board to load the user settings on power-up next time. To do so, follow these steps:
  1. To import user settings, click the Import button.
  2. Wait for the successful completion of importing, and press SW15 for 5 seconds. The board saves all the clock settings to flash. The LED D11 blinks once to notify you that it is in saving state. The saving only takes effect tat the next power cycling.
  3. If you want to restore the factory default clock settings, press SW14 for 5 seconds. The LED D11 blinks 5 times to notify you of its recovering state.
