Use only the power supply adapter provided with the development kit. The power supply connector is a 2x3 pin connector but is keyed to mate with 2x4 pins input connector (J32) on development board.

The power supply output 12-V DC power at 20 A to the development board. The 12-V DC input power is separated to MAX® 10 power domain and system FPGA power domain via a on board hot-plug circuit each.

The on board hot-plug circuit shuts down power rail when power over 388 W (32.37 A) at each power domain.

MAX® 10 shuts down significant power rails when one or more power good indicators below low due to a power fault.

MAX® 10 also shuts down significant power rails when temperature cross the acceptable range.
