4.3.1. Diagnostic GUI

The Diagnostic menu provides the functionality of checking the status of the devices. To trigger a basic board diagnostic, click the Start button. After it is completed, the color of the light indicates if the test is a pass or a fail.
Table 5.  Diagnostic GUI—Light Indicator
Color Description
Green All the items have passed the test.
Red At least one item has failed the test.
This feature supports the following diagnostic modules:
  • Memory: Diagnoses DDR, FLASH, and EEPROM.
  • Clock: Diagnoses the clock-related devices.
  • Power: Diagnoses the power-related devices.
  • UART: Diagnoses the UART device.
  • Expansion Board: Diagnoses the HPS expansion board.
