1.1.1. Choosing a Power Tree

You can choose a power tree topology based on the requirements of your device.

To determine a power tree topology for your device, you must consider its requirements. You can construct the initial power tree by referring to the Pin Connection Guidelines: Agilex™ 5 FPGAs and SoCs . As the design progresses and the power requirements become clearer, you can specify the appropriate power supplies in the power tree based on the voltage rails' power needs. You can find examples of power tree topologies in the user guides of the various Agilex™ 5 development kits.

The requirements of the power supply may not yet be known, but you can access the supply voltage and connection requirements from the Pin Connection Guidelines: Agilex™ 5 FPGAs and SoCs .
