5.3.6.4.4.2. Last Operation Status
The status of the last operation executed can be retrieved in similarly to how this is done in the PIO work mode, described previously in the 4.3.6.4.3.2 Last Operation Status section, although there are some differences.
In generic work mode, the selected thread finishes its work when the appropriate command request is sent to the mini controller module. It may take some additional time to process the command by the mini-controller and send it to the NAND Flash device. If the host needs to make sure that all commands were finished, it can check controller operation status by polling the ctrl_busy bit in the ctrl_status(0x0118) register.
The table presented in 4.3.6.4.3.2 Last Operation Status section also applies for generic work mode with the following differences:
- Bits from 63:20 are reserved.
- Bit 12 is reserved.
- Bit 0 (Command error) denotes that an invalid sequence has been detected.
