6.2.1. TCAM Flush Operations

You can use the flush operation to remove all entries from the TCAM database or to initialize the table memory after a reset.

To perform a flush operation, follow these steps in the AXI-Lite interface:

  1. Write to the mgmt_ctrl register, specifying op_type = 0x0.
  2. Poll the mgmt_ctrl register until the busy bit = 0x0.
  3. Check the mgmt_ctrl success bit; a value of 0x1 indicates that the flush has been completed.

The mgmt_ctrl register success bit is set to 0x1 to indicate the lookup table is successfully flushed. The address of the mgmt_ctrl register is 0x20.
