PXFCHMOD

POSIX Subroutine: Changes the ownership mode of the file.

CALL PXFCHMOD (path,ilen,imode,ierror)

path

(Input) Character. The path to the file.

ilen

(Input) INTEGER(4). The length of the path string.

imode

(Input) INTEGER(4). The ownership mode of the file. On Windows* systems, see your Microsoft* Visual C++ Installation in the \include directory under sys\stat.h for the values of imode. On Linux* systems, use octal file-access mode.

ierror

(Output) INTEGER(4). The error status.

If successful, ierror is set to zero; otherwise, an error code.

NOTE:

On Linux* systems, you must have sufficient ownership permissions, such as being the owner of the file or having read/write access of the file.
