Arguments

Default

-fno-exceptions

Exception handling table generation is disabled.

Description

This option enables C++ exception handling table generation, preventing Fortran routines in mixed-language applications from interfering with exception handling between C++ routines.

The -fno-exceptions option disables C++ exception handling table generation, resulting in smaller code. When this option is used, any use of C++ exception handling constructs (such as try blocks and throw statements) when a Fortran routine is in the call chain will produce an error.
