GPU HW Scheduler Time

Metric Description

The GPU Hardware Scheduler Time (GPU HW Scheduler Time) metric indicates the duration that a context was executing on a particular GPU engine. Like GPU Time, you can correlate this metric to Elapsed Time to indicate the portion of time that the workload was executing on the GPU.

If an engine uses the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) capability to schedule hardware-accelerated GPUs, you can use this metric to find the portion of GPU time that was measured on that engine.

The total GPU Time includes both GPU HW Scheduler Time and GPU Time calculated from the DMA packet data.
