4.3.4.2.1. Communicating with the Target Device

If you configured your application to use the stdin function via a JTAG UART interface, you can use the juart-terminal application to communicate with your target processor subsystem.

On the command line, you must use the juart-terminal application to communicate with your target. Ensure that your Intel FPGA is configured with the target hardware image. To start the application, type the following command:

juart-terminal 

Characters you type in the shell are transmitted to the target. You can also configure the juart-terminal in the Ashling* RiscFree* IDE for Intel FPGA.
