7. Networking with the Simulated Target System

Intel® Simics® simulator allows the interaction between the target system and the host PC in tasks such as transferring files in both ways, connecting to the same ethernet network, controlling from the host PC the execution of applications in the target system, etc. This section describes some of the features supported by Intel® Simics® simulator for these purposes.
