4.6.9. Injecting SDM ECC Errors
To inject SDM ECC errors, you can use the command-line interface or the GUI.
- Command-line interface—use the quartus_fid command.
- GUI—use the Quartus® Prime Tcl Console with the Fault Injection Debugger tool.
- GUI—use the Fault Injection Debugger tool.
- Command-line interface—use the mailbox command, INSERT_ECC_ERROR [0x42].
The injected error simulates the Advanced SEU Detection IP's report of the SDM ECC error response. You can use the simulated response to test your system's response to SDM ECC errors being reported by the Advanced SEU Detection IP.
