5.6.9.3. Injecting SDM ECC Errors: Fault Injection Debugger

Before you begin, set up the Fault Injection Debugger tool and configure your device using a .sof.
  1. In the Fault Injection Debugger window, under the ECC tab of the Fault Injection box, select the Sector Index and RAM ID.
  2. Click Inject.
    The Quartus® Prime Messages window displays messages about the injected errors.
  3. Click Read EMR to view more information about the injected faults.
    The Fault Injection Debugger retrieves the content of the error message queue and displays it in the Quartus® Prime Messages window.
