3.5. Event Trigger Synchronization

Part IV of the example in figure Multiple Device Synchronization in DPA System in Digital Phased Array Synchronization explains the event trigger synchronization. In the example, the hardware capture modules in two FPGA devices need to capture the ADC data synchronously. The trigger signals should be synchronized to guarantee the capture starts from the same time point.

The SYSREF signal can be used as the trigger signal to synchronize ADC capture.
