1.8.3. Secondary Profile
A secondary profile is a single port Ethernet rate to which you want to dynamically reconfigure to. The secondary profile may use all or some of the transceivers allocated for the reconfiguration group.
For example, 100GE-4 Reconfigurable group can have secondary profiles such as 25GE-1, 50GE-1, 50GE-2, 40GE-4, 100GE-2 or even another 100GE-4 profile with a FEC from that of the base profile’s.
