4.4. CEI-56G-MR-PAM4 Receiver Details

This section details the receiver requirement as per CEI-56G- MR-PAM4 specifications.

A compliant receiver must autonomously operate at the specified bit error rate (BER) with the worst-case combination of a compliant transmitter and a compliant channel. The receiver shall accept the differential input signal amplitudes produced by a compliant transmitter connected with minimum attenuation as specified in .
