4.1. Report Timing

The Report Timing command allows you to specify settings and report the timing of any path or clock domain within a group of designs. You can customize the reporting by specifying the Analysis Type to run, Clocks and Targets to report, whether to display Extra Info in the report, and the Output options for the report.

You can use these reports in the following ways:

The Exploration Dashboard reports paths by grouping them based on similar from/to/launch/latch values to identify patterns across projects. However, not all projects necessarily include every pattern found in other projects, and this variability is not necessarily problematic. The Failed Paths and Reported Paths columns display the number of failing paths and the total number of paths for each pattern, respectively. Meanwhile, the Failing/Passing/Unreported Projects column provides a breakdown of projects with failing paths, passing paths, and no reported paths that match a similar pattern across all projects.

Selecting a row in the top-level summary table displays each path in the bundle in a new table, with the option to select individual paths for detailed information from the source project's report.
