9.3. Running the Simulation Tests
Once you have generated the example design, you must run the simulation by executing the appropriate shell script for your chosen simulator. For example, to run a VCS simulation, just type sh run_vcs.sh at the command prompt in the testbench directory.
This will generate the simulation setup script for the VCS simulator, compile the design using the VCS design compiler, and run the simulation.
