2.3. Attributes

Attributes are a set of additional parameters that the device owner may apply in conjunction with a digital signature to convey intention of validity to the SDM. The SDM stores attributes in fuses and compares them during the processing of digital signatures. Authorization affords the device owner additional flexibility to manage the validity of bitstreams or commands over time, between devices, or even for specific uses.
