A.1.1. Use Case 1: Partial Reconfiguration with the PR Region Controller IP

The Partial Reconfiguration with the PR Region Controller IP use case for M20K memory protection applies to designs with the following characteristics:
  • The design includes one or more PR regions or partitions.
  • The design includes PR partitions that are not hierarchical (that is, nested).
  • You intend to use the PR Region Controller IP to control the freeze signals and reset of the PR partitions.

In this use case, take the following actions in your RTL to implement the M20K memory protection.
