2.2.1.1. Enable MPU Standby and Event Signals
Microprocessor Unit (MPU) standby signals are notification signals to the FPGA fabric that the MPU is in standby. Event signals wake up the Arm* Cortex*-A55/ Arm* Cortex*-A76 processors from a wait-for-event (WFE) state. Turning on the Enable MPU standby & event signals option enables the h2f_mpu_events conduit, which is comprised of the following signals:
Signal Name | Interface Type | Interface Description |
---|---|---|
h2f_mpu_events_eventi_ack | Conduit |
MPU event input request acknowledge. It is not asserted until EVENTI_REQ is high, and then remains asserted until after EVENTI_REQ goes low. |
h2f_mpu_events_evento_ack | Conduit |
MPU event output request acknowledge. It must not be asserted until EVENTO_REQ is high, and then must remain asserted until after EVENTO_REQ goes low. |
h2f_mpu_events_eventi_req | Conduit |
The EVENTI_REQ input indicates that another cluster or system component has signaled a WFE wake up event. |
h2f_mpu_events_evento_req | Conduit |
A Send Event (SEV) instruction signals a WFE wake up event to other clusters by asserting the EVENTO_REQ output. |
