7.1.21. HSSI Hotplug Debug Port Control

Description: Controls the hotplug module per port.
Note: Applicable only for E-Tile when DR is enabled.

Byte Offset: 0x118

Addressing Mode: 32 bits

Bit Type Reset Description
31:16 RW FFFF Hotplug_paused per-port:

Write 1'b1 to pause the hotplug signal check state for the specific port at the Valid signal detect stage, after successful hotplug completion. The hotplug completion status is available in the HSSI Hotplug Debug Port Status register.

Use this to pause the hotplug process when accessing PMA attribute codes of the XCVR. If not paused, your PMA attribute codes may mix with hotplug attribute codes, as the hotplug process continuously checks the signal. This action does not restart the hotplug process.

Write 1'b1 to disable the hotplug logic on the specific port and set it to idle. Re-enable the hotplug module to reset the RX transceiver (TX remains unaffected).
