1.4. Nios® V Processor Software Programs

Nios® V processor programs are Executable and Linking Format File (ELF). The standard process for creating the ELF file is to create CMake projects that combine user code, BSP and other libaries to build this ELF file. The CMake combines user application project with information from BSP project, and other libraries as necessary to build the Nios® V processor program.

The Nios® V processor tools creates software projects for you. Each project is based on a CMakeLists.txt.
