3.3.4.1. Entering SILENT Mode
At the system level, before you activate software debug (therefore only in a “bench” situation), you must activate SILENT mode through the Configuration Interface or fRNET Interface.
You can activate SILENT mode from any fRSmartComp system state, Altera recommends you carry this out in the OD state. After that, you can debug the application software and the interactions between the software and the fRSmartComp’s ALARMS, STATUS, and CONTEXT information.
