2.2.3.3. Enable Counters

The dedicated counter (Enable) count the number of fRSmartComp ENABLE commands issued. The thresholds for both counters are available and configurable.

The Nios® V processor LockStep solution generates an alarm (ALARM17) if a counter value exceeds its threshold. The counters detect permanent errors (never-ending loops) in a system.

Perform the following actions to set the ENABLE counter threshold.
