4.3. Hard Processor System (HPS) Support

Software running on the Hard Processor System (HPS) in the Altera SoC devices can use the QSPI flash after requesting exclusive access to it from the SDM.

In order for the software to use the selected QSPI device, you need to enable support for it, typically in U-Boot and Linux.
