4.7. Priority Flow Control

The Priority Flow Control (PFC) unit provides priority-based flow control feature that can be enabled or disabled using the IP GUI. When disabled, the PFC unit can be fully optimized away without consuming any extra FPGA resources. There is one instance of PFC unit per Ethernet port, and it currently supports up to 100Gb/s on F-Tile.

PFC supports the Advanced eXtensible (AXI) interface protocol in a single packet mode. In F-Tile, PFC can only be supported when single stream mode is enabled.

Note: PFC feature does not support dynamic reconfiguration. When you enable DR, PFC is automatically disabled.
