2.2. Download and Install the Early Power Estimator

The EPE spreadsheet for Intel devices is available from the Early Power Estimators (EPE) and Power Analyzer on the Intel® website. After reading the terms and conditions and clicking I Agree, you can download the Microsoft Excel (.xls or .xlsx) file.

By default, the macro security level in Microsoft Excel 2003, Microsoft Excel 2007, and Microsoft Excel 2010 is set to High. If the macro security level is set to High, macros are automatically disabled. For the features in theEPE spreadsheet to function properly, you must enable macros.
