Energy Analysis User Guide

Use Intel® SoC Watch to perform energy analysis on your system and collect metrics that help identify system behaviors that waste energy. You can collect and view data in these ways:

Collect Data:

  • Collect comprehensive data using Intel® SoC Watch.
  • Get a snapshot in VTune Profiler.

View Data:

  • See a CSV-formatted summary report for energy consumption problems and their contributing factors.

  • Import results to Intel® VTune™ Profiler. Use standard filter and zoom capabilities in the application for a detailed inspection of energy consumption behavior over time.

Intel® SoC Watch is available in VTune Profiler, which you can download with the Intel® oneAPI Base Toolkit.
