2.4.1. Reading the QSPI Controller Settings and SFDP Values
- Click Hardware Setup to select the hardware setup to use for debugging.
- Click Load Device and select your device.
- Click Flash.
Note: The Flash tab is disabled if the selected device does not support this feature.
- Select the Chip Select pin that connects to the targeted QSPI flash memory.
Note: Agilex™ 7 and Agilex™ 5 devices support CS0 to CS3 for targeted QSPI flash memory.
- Click Auto-detect to automatically detect the QSPI flash memory that is attached to the device.
- Click QSPI Controller and SFDP.
- Click Activate to start a debug session. This enables the interface to modify the QSPI controller settings.
- Click Read to read the QSPI controller settings and SFDP information of the attached QSPI.
- Click Clear to clear the QSPI controller settings and SFDP information read from the QSPI flash.
- Click Save As to export the QSPI controller settings and SFDP information read from the QSPI flash into a text file.
- Click Toggle to Soft Reset or Hard Reset to reset the attached QSPI device.
Note: To control QSPI hard reset, enable the QSPI reset pin and connect to the SDM I/O pin (SDMIO15).
- Click Submit to update the QSPI controller settings.
Note: Always configure the flash register accordingly prior to updating the QSPI controller settings to avoid configuration error during debugging.
- Click Auto-detect to restore the QSPI controller settings to the default configuration when debugging.
- Click Deactivate to end the debug session.
