3. Temperature Excursion Allowances and Limitations
Intel has assessed the impact of such temperature excursions on device reliability and determined that device lifetime still achieves a minimum of 11.4 years.
Products | Speed | Excursion Junction Temperature | Excursion Duration (% of lifetime or total hours) |
---|---|---|---|
Intel® Stratix® 10 GX, Intel® Stratix® 10 DX, Intel® Stratix® 10 SX, Intel® Stratix® 10 TX | All | 100°C to 105°C | Up to 5% or a total of accumulative 5,000 hours. For the remaining time of 95% or a cumulative of 95,000 hours, junction temperature must not exceed 100°C. |
100°C to 110°C | Up to 4.1% or a total of accumulative 4,100 hours. For the remaining time of 95.9% or a cumulative of 95,900 hours, junction temperature must not exceed 100°C. |

Intel Agilex® 7 (F-Series and I-Series) with E-Tile, F-Tile, P-tile, and R-tile | All | 100°C to 105°C | Up to 5% or a total of accumulative 5,000 hours. |
- For specific telecom applications, refer to specific conditions requested by Telecom Telcordia NEBs GR-63; excursion should not exceed 360 hours per year, with a maximum of 96 consecutive hours.
- For temperature excursions different from those in the above table, contact Intel Premiere Support and quote issue ID #14016709431.
- Intel Agilex® 7 F-Series and I-Series devices with F-tile applies to 2024 product date-code or later.
- Intel Agilex® 7 M-Series devices are not included.
- Intel® Stratix® 10 devices with HBM are excluded due to the HBM requirement to not exceed 95°C maximum temperature.
