Code page (or character encoding) is a specific set of printable characters and control characters with unique numbers. Application with any specific code page must ensure that the host PC supports the same code page.

You may need to configure the Windows Command Prompt or Linux terminal before starting the JTAG server connection to the JTAG UART Core.

For example, UTF-8 is identified as 65001 on the Windows Code Page. Use the command “chcp” to set, reset, or query the current code page.
