Sessions
Intel® Dynamic Application Loader (Intel® DAL) supports both shared and non-shared sessions (in which a host application uses the Intel® DAL Host Interface Service (Intel® DAL HIS) to communicate with a trusted application)
- Non-shared session: A session that is used exclusively by 1 host application.
- Shared session: A session that is used by 1 or more host applications.
The following table shows the maximum number of open sessions to the Intel DAL virtual machine for each firmware generation and API level:
Generation | API Level | Number of Sessions |
---|---|---|
Intel® Management Engine (Intel® ME) 10 and older | 6 and below | 5 |
Intel ME 11 ,11.5, Intel® Converged Security and Management Engine (Intel® CSME) 12 | 7 or 8, 9 | 10 |
Intel® Trusted Execution Engine (Intel® TXE) 3.1.xx, Intel TXE 4.0.xx | 8 | 16 |
Intel CSME 13 and above | 9 and above | 16 |
