Resolution

Intel® Processor Identification Utility will identify pre-production processors as engineering samples and notify users.

Intel® Processor Identification Utility does not fully support the engineering sample processors. Processors identified as engineering samples may or may not be able to display complete processor information.

Some engineering sample processors may show up as “Future Intel” if the utility is unable to detect the BrandString or has not added support for the latest unreleased processors.

Note
  1. Intel® Processor Identification Utility is intended for end users to identify their production processors.
  2. Refer to Definition of Engineering Sample (ES) Processors and How to Identify an Intel® ES for the definition of engineering sample and support options.
