Steps to get the maximum operating temperature for Intel® Processors using the product specification page
Need to know how to find the maximum operating temperature for my Intel® Processor
Follow the steps below:
- Visit the product specification page.
- Identify your Intel® Processor. Note the number of the processor.
- Enter the Intel processor number in the search specification box, located upper-right.
- On the processor page, scroll down to Package Specifications.
- Look for Tjunction or Tcase value.
Note | The maximum operating temperature limit varies per processor and usually is between 100°C-110°C. |
Other components within the system can also hit their thermal limits independently of the processor. If this is an OEM system such as laptop or a desktop system, refer back to your OEM for product specifications. If this is a self-built system, refer to and consult the motherboard or component vendors for the product specifications.
