When Installing Intel® Driver & Support Assistant (Intel® DSA), Received an Error Message “Failure from ApplyComplete: 0x80070643”

There have been reports that Intel® DSA was working fine and then it suddenly stopped working. When uninstalling the application and reinstalling it, an error stating Failure from ApplyComplete: 0x80070643 was seen during the reinstallation.
This issue was resolved in 2022 and should be rarely experienced by Intel® DSA users. If you do experience this issue, please try the following steps to fix it.
