The Email Notifications of Intel® Virtual RAID on CPU (Intel® VROC) Do Not Work After Logging Out of Windows*

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Summary

Requirements for the email events within Intel® VROC.

Description

After successfully configuring the Intel® VROC email notifications, the email alerts are sent out only when the user is logged in, meaning that no notifications are generated if the user logs out or the system is restarted. Notifications resume working properly after the system boots and the user logs in again.

Resolution

The user must be logged in with administrator privileges in order to enable email notifications within the Intel® VROC Graphical User Interface (GUI). This is also required in order for the email notifications to be sent out.

This is the expected behavior, meaning that logging in after restarting the system will also be required.

The user can lock the login session after logging in.
