End-of-Life (EOL) Announcement for the Intel® SSD Toolbox and Intel® SSD Data Center Tool Applications
The following applications have reached end-of-life (EOL) and will no longer be updated:
- Intel® SSD Toolbox
- Intel® SSD Data Center Tool (Intel® SSD DCT)
The software will continue to be available for download until the End of 2020.
| Note | The Windows 7* and Windows 8* operating systems are not officially supported/validated with the Intel® MAS GUI Tool, and Windows 7 is not supported with the CLI Tool. Users on unsupported operating systems can continue to manage firmware updates with the Intel® SSD Firmware Update Tool. |
Intel recommends that users migrate to the following applications for continued Intel® SSD management and firmware updates:
- Intel® Memory and Storage (Intel® MAS) Tool (GUI): Replacement for Intel® SSD Toolbox that contains a Graphical User Interface
- Intel® Memory and Storage Tool (CLI): Replacement for the Intel® SSD DCT that is a Command Line Interface application
The Intel® MAS Tool contains the same functionality and more. See the User Guide available on the download pages linked above for additional information.
