Identify Your Intel® Wireless Gigabit Adapter and Driver Version Number
Select your operating system, and follow the steps to identify your Intel® Wireless Gigabit Adapter and driver.
| Note | Your Intel® Wireless Gigabit Adapter may have a different adapter name for the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth component. |
- Right-click the button
in the bottom left corner of the screen. - Select the Device Manager.
- Select Intel® Wireless Gigabit Drivers to expand the section and the Intel Wireless Adapter is listed. Example: Intel® Wireless Gigabit 18260 Device Driver.
- Select and double-click Intel® Wireless Gigabit 18260 Device Driver. Select the Driver tab. The Wireless Gigabit driver version number is listed in the Driver Version field.
- Right-click the Start button
in the bottom left corner of the screen. - Select Device Manager.
- Select Intel® Wireless Gigabit Drivers to expand the section and the Intel Wireless Adapter is listed. Example: Intel® Wireless Gigabit 18260 Device Driver.
- Select and double-click Intel® Wireless Gigabit 18260 Device Driver. Select the Driver tab and the Wireless Gigabit driver version number is listed in the Driver Version field.
- Click the Start button
in the bottom left corner of the screen. - Right-click Computer and select Manage.
- Select Device Manager in the left pane.
- On the right pane, select Intel® Wireless Gigabit Drivers to expand the section and the Intel Wireless Adapter is listed. Example: Intel® Wireless Gigabit 18260 Device Driver.
- Select and double-click Intel® Wireless Gigabit 18260 Device Driver. Select the Driver tab. The Wireless Gigabit driver version number is listed in the Driver Version field.
- Now that you identified your Intel® Wireless Adapter name and current installed Wireless Gigabit driver version, contact your Wireless Docking Manufacturer to request the correct driver .
